THE ARTIST SHOWCASE Winter Inaugural Edition is now accessible online at The Artist Showcase.
What started out as an idea shared over dinner with a business colleague last summer has quickly evolved into an exciting reality - The Miami Arts Premiere Edition showcases the talents of 40 artists from all walks of life and from all corners of the world, at varying levels in their careers.
Many of our artists have had to overcome adverse conditions, fleeing oppressive political and economic climates to find a more peaceful lifestyle for their own passions to follow.
Some have had successful careers in other professions, only to be able to follow their true calling as artists after pursuing other vocations.
At varying stages of their artistic development, we have emerging artists, just out of school on up to internationally recognized artists who have been creating, exhibiting and selling their work for decades.
What they all have in common is a desire to share their art, and their stories with a wider audience, which is exactly why we created The Artist Showcase - for our artists to be able to do just that!
You will find much of their work on their websites and on ours, BUT, The Artist Showcase is as close to having those works at hand, in a high-gloss, high quality print publication, as you will be able to get without buying the work itself! Then, of course, there is always the option of buying or commissioning the work from the artist or their representative, which you will no doubt want to do after reading their stories and seeing their work!
Besides showcasing the works of our 40 artists, this Edition also showcases The Red Dot Fair as a Premiere Boutique Art Fair for emerging and mid-career talent. Visit the Red Dot Fair in the Wynwood Section of the City during Miami Arts Week.
While there, stop by Artisan Direct, Ltd. and the Jayson Samuel Gallery booths, where you will be able to see original works by many of the artists showcased in The Artist Showcase. You will also be able to pick up more issues of The Artist Showcase.
