Devon Shops, the leading maker of fine hand-carved French Classic and Transitional furnishings, has announced its' Sale of the Century will continue through June! Located on the corner of Park Avenue and 27th Street on the East side of Manhattan, Devon Shops has been a fixture in the Furniture Industry since it opened its doors in 1929.

Now, more than 85 years after it first opened those illustrious doors, the Company is moving. But before doing so, they have marked down most of their inventory from 50-75% off! Unheard of quality in this day and age at ridiculous prices, that is not likely to be replicated again once the Company does move. This is the kind of furniture that is handed down through generations for the quality, value and styling it can and has withstood through the tests of time.

What makes Devon Shops unique is that each piece is handcrafted in a basement workshop right there on the premises where Master Artisans utilize old-world techniques and the finest of materials to painstakingly craft the custom furniture to each customer's specifications. Seven years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte Barbakow, the purveyor of Devon Shops, the leading maker of fine hand-carved French Classic and Transitional furnishings. Located on the corner of Park Avenue and 27th Street on the East side of Manhattan, Devon Shops has been a fixture in the Furniture Industry since it opened its doors in 1929. Charlotte took over the business in 1980 and has been operating it ever since.

That all being said, let it also be known that for a limited time only, these pieces are made that much more affordable now. The business is in the process of moving, and so, most of the inventory is marked down from 50-75% off. Unheard of quality in this day and age at ridiculous prices, that are not likely to be replicated again once the Company moves. This is the kind of furniture that is handed down through the generations for the quality, value and styling it can and has withstood through the tests of time.

Sale only includes current inventory. It does not include previous or custom orders, but, the professional, complimentary Design Service is included, as always.
